Ever wondered why some goals are easy to achieve and others just seem interminable or failures altogether? What do easily attainable goals have in common?

In an effort to answer that question, I have spent a good part of my life (since about the age of 13) studying successful people and what makes them successful, including the art of setting goals.

Setting lifetime achievement or vision goals is the key to making all of your dreams a reality. From the setting of those goals, you literally become a different person. And it’s in that feeling of being a different person that you have set the goal correctly. It stands to reason that if you want to be fit and healthy, you must think and behave (eat drink and exercise) the way a fit and healthy person behaves. If you want to be in love, you must attract the kind of person you want to be in love with and keep them attracted. If you want to win at any goal, you must think and behave like someone who has already achieved it and knows how to do it. Goal setting is not about putting idle dreams to paper. It is about becoming the person you wish to be.
